What We Do with It

REUSE
The best use is reuse.  We make every effort to
repair and reuse donated computer items.  Our first priority is to provide computer equipment to non profit organizations in underserved communities abroad.  We also provide computer equipment to local non profits, we donate computer equipment to our volunteers and some items are sold at our retail store to help fund our operations.

RECYCLE
Non-functioning computers and scrap are recycled responsibly.  Volunteers disassembled computers and their metals are taken to
a local recycler.  Hazardous materials, such as CRT glass, are taken to Total Reclaim.

DISPOSAL
As a last resort, some items are take to a waste disposal site.  Our goal is keep usable items out of landfills and we try to avoid this step as much as possible.
