EARTH CORPS
Ecycle Event 2005
 

On April 30, 2005 EarthCorps together with Earth Share of Washington and InterConnection accepted used computers, monitors, TVs and other electronic materials during a one day Ecycle Event.

Hundreds of computers and monitors were received during the event.  Thousands of dollars were raised for Earth Corps. 
Proceeds from the event will help fund travel costs of young environmental leaders training with EarthCorps. Proceeds will also support InterConnection’s efforts to provide computer and Internet training to underserved communities throughout the world.

Electronic waste is harmful to the environment. These items are no longer allowed in the landfills. The Ecycle event provides the public with an opportunity to properly and easily dispose of their electronic waste.
